The following are the Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) which govern your access and use of our online platform through which faith-based counseling, coaching, mentorship, and wellness support services may be provided (collectively, the “Platform”).
This website is owned and operated by Edifi, LLC (“Edifi,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For questions or support, please contact us at hello@tryedifi.com.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not access or use the Platform.
The Counselors and Counseling Services
The Platform may be used to connect users with accredited Christian counselors (“Counselors”) who may offer faith-based counseling, coaching, mentorship, spiritual guidance, and related wellness support services through the Platform (“Counseling Services”).
Counselor Qualifications
We require every Counselor offering services through the Platform to maintain appropriate accreditation, certification, training, or credentials relevant to Christian counseling and faith-based support services. Counselors must possess relevant education, ministry experience, counseling experience, or training consistent with the services they provide.
Counselors are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Edifi, LLC. The Platform’s role is limited to providing technical and administrative support that enables Counseling Services.
Edifi does not directly provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, or healthcare services.
If you are dissatisfied with your assigned Counselor, you may request to be matched with another Counselor, subject to availability.
Important Disclosures
THE PLATFORM IS NOT A CRISIS SERVICE.
IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT SUICIDE, CONSIDERING HARMING YOURSELF OR OTHERS, OR EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CALL 911 OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES PROVIDER.
THE PLATFORM IS NOT DESIGNED FOR EMERGENCY USE, AND COUNSELORS ON THE PLATFORM CANNOT PROVIDE THE ASSISTANCE REQUIRED IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
THE COUNSELING SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE PLATFORM ARE FAITH-BASED SUPPORT SERVICES ONLY AND ARE NOT MEDICAL OR HEALTHCARE SERVICES.
EDIFI, LLC IS NOT A LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER, MEDICAL PRACTICE, OR COVERED ENTITY UNDER THE HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 1996 (“HIPAA”).
ALTHOUGH EDIFI IMPLEMENTS PRIVACY AND SECURITY PRACTICES INTENDED TO ALIGN WITH HIPAA-STYLE SAFEGUARDS AND INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES, THE PLATFORM IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL, PSYCHIATRIC, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR CLINICAL CARE.
THE PLATFORM DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, PRESCRIPTIONS, OR EMERGENCY SERVICES.
THE PLATFORM IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE CLINICAL DIAGNOSES, OFFICIAL MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATIONS, OR LEGAL DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING COURT-ORDERED TREATMENT OR CERTIFICATIONS.
DO NOT DISREGARD OR DELAY SEEKING CARE FROM A LICENSED HEALTHCARE OR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL WHEN APPROPRIATE.
Privacy and Security
Protecting your personal information is important to us. Information regarding our data collection, use, and privacy practices is set forth in our Privacy Policy.
While Edifi, LLC is not a “Covered Entity” under HIPAA, Edifi is committed to maintaining privacy and security standards designed to align with applicable HIPAA safeguards and industry best practices for protecting sensitive personal information.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, and materials made available through the Platform are owned by or licensed to Edifi, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Edifi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Platform without prior written consent from Edifi.
Third-Party Content
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, products, services, or content. Edifi is not responsible for any third-party content, including its accuracy, legality, or availability.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL COUNSELING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
EDIFI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDIFI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR COUNSELING SERVICES.
EDIFI’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO EDIFI DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Subscription and Billing
We may offer subscription-based services with recurring billing intervals. By enrolling in a subscription, you authorize Edifi to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis until canceled.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle.
Unused sessions or services generally do not roll over unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to modify pricing or subscription terms upon reasonable notice.
Session Cancellation Policy
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to fees. Specific cancellation policies may vary depending on the Counselor or service type.
Electronic Communications Consent
By using the Platform, you consent to receive communications electronically, including emails, text messages, appointment reminders, account notifications, and service-related communications.
You may opt out of non-essential communications where permitted by law.
Virtual Counseling Consent
By using the Platform, you consent to receiving services remotely through messaging, phone, audio, video, or other electronic communication methods.
You understand that remote communications involve inherent risks, including potential interruptions, unauthorized access, and technology failures.
You may withdraw consent to remote counseling services at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform.
User Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
- You are legally capable of entering into this Agreement;
- All information you provide is accurate and current;
- You will maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials;
- You will not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edifi, LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or your violation of this Agreement.
Modifications and Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or this Agreement at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
Export Controls
You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws in connection with your use of the Platform.

Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement and any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Platform shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
YOU IRREVOCABLY AGREE THAT ANY ACTION, CLAIM, OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE BROUGHT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF DELAWARE OR, IF FEDERAL JURISDICTION IS NOT AVAILABLE, THE STATE COURTS LOCATED IN DELAWARE.
YOU CONSENT TO THE PERSONAL JURISDICTION OF SUCH COURTS AND WAIVE ANY OBJECTION BASED ON VENUE OR FORUM NON CONVENIENS.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Edifi, LLC regarding your use of the Platform and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Any provisions regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, governing law, or intellectual property shall survive termination of this Agreement.
