Ascend Church

Ascend Church is a church committed to seeing lost people saved, saved people matured, and mature people multiplied to the glory of Christ. We stand upon six distinctives: 1. Preaching the Word of God without apology through expository application-oriented sermons that expose the original author's intent for the original audience and then bridging that understanding to live what we have learned in our present-day context 2. Lifting high the name of Jesus in worship through content-driven, biblically-sound, and Christ-centered music that provides a rehearsal for a life of worship throughout the week 3. Believing firmly in the power of prayer and demonstrating that belief by actually praying 4. Discipling through uncommon communities by inviting accountability, shouldering each other's burdens, and spurring one another on to Christ-likeness 5. Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness by modeling the grace and truth ministry of Jesus Christ, planting and watering seeds of the Gospel expectant for the Holy Spirit to produce fruit 6. Planting like-minded churches committed to these distinctives. We endeavor to provide opportunities and ministries for people of all ages to grow as quality disciples who worship Christ, walk with Him, and work for Him to the glory of His name.
